In case you missed the previous appreciation week, Jennifer Lee confirmed herself that she was born of the Winter Solstice and after doing some research thanks to Frozen Fever, Elsa was born was on December 21st 1817. Elyza saves Alicia from a walker and Alicia doesn’t know why the second she turns around & makes eye contact “than- …. Thank you”
she doesn’t know why her voice & accent are not familiar, because this is a stranger why would they be? But her smirk is, those eyes are familiar for reasons she doesn’t understand
she is chuckling at one of nick’s stupid jokes, and she feels like someone is watching her. She find Elyza looking at her like she is on a trance, eyes glossy & mouth a little open
the first time she smirks at elyza’s snark, elyza grins at her, looking at her like she knows more than the joke she just made
elyza remembers (well more like she’s been having these dreams for a while now & when she meets Alicia and sees her face, she understands they are more like memories, which is insane & she doesn’t want to believe it but dead people are eating alive people so it’s a crazy world, everything goes)
when they team up to kill a group of 4 walkers, Elyza manages to shoot 3 of them down, before Alicia has taken out her first and only one and it’s been a long time since her first kill, she’s almost used to it by now so she is like “ON YOUR FACE!!” and turns around, palm up and grinning to high five Elyza. The blonde is stunned by the reaction, before her surprise turns to fondness, to that longing look that makes Alicia feel uneasy but also makes something stir in her stomach & warmth spread in her chest. Elyza high fives before she takes her hand, in a weird form of hand shake, mirth added in her eyes and says “nice shot! Now let’s get outta here”
when they first kiss, Alicia goes for passionate & fast, because all those weeks of flirting have made her needy. But Elyza puts one hand on her shoulder to push her away just a little, and turns the kiss soft and gentle, slow. She sucks lightly on her bottom lip, and moves to change the angle, staying impossibly close, noses rubbing. When it’s over a couple of minutes later, elyza’s hand has moves to alicia’s neck & she keeps her foreheads pressed together, eyes still closed and she whispers/mumbles something that sounds an awful lot like “oh my god I’ve missed you”
Alicia says I love you first. Elyza would never. This girl is almost 18 now and the world is literally ending. Her first boyfriend (also the first and last person she ever said “I love you” to in that way) is dead, like are most of the people she ever knew
also Elyza is 99% sure this girl is her soulmate, but that could go to 0% if she doesnt say it back
Alicia dreams about them only once, and she remembers misty blue eyes looking down at her, remembers holding a hand and then pulling someone close and over her as she lays down on a bed and kisses them with a passion & neediness that feels so real, her chest aches long after she has woken up
